Never fall madly in love in the Stock Market!
Can you suspect that, but that is how we get when we are keen. I simply could not believe ( I had no desire to believe ) they could lose. If they were going down, I was going down with them. On this occasion, I was so wound up, ready them to win, knowing all along they’d blown their probabilities.
We all go thru this and hopefully only in our terribly early days when we learn some agonizing lessons. We purchase a stock, believing the price will go to a higher level. We all know it’ll rise, as it’s a blue chip and the indicators all line up. It is a stock we like because we’ve followed it for some considerable time and it’s a famous name it has been a great performer for some years. But it does not and like a sports fan, you stick with your “team” and with each dip in price, you are feeling that agony and you fast go down too - you too are a loser, not only in the way that you have gone against the rules, but also you have lost your money.
